5G, the 5th generation mobile network, is a kind of network that is designed to connect virtually everyone and everything together including machines, objects, and devices.

The IoT and more!

We have heard the term Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT not just connects people, it connects almost everything we own.

5G wireless technology was devised for higher multi-Gbps data speeds, ultra-low latency, more reliability, massive network capacity, and a more uniform user experience.

By installing 5G-connected IoT sensors to every single item, either on the inside or outside of packaging, the stakeholders in the supply chain can, at any given time, see the item's location, temperature, humidity, and much more.

Recording and sharing data automatically with all parties involved (without manual checkpoints) will provide convenience to both businesses and customers. It will expedite production, streamline complex logistical processes, and help cut costs. And if incidents were to happen, contingency plans can be drawn up sooner giving better time for mitigation.
