CybageKhushboo, the CSR arm of Cybage Software Private Limited has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with iTeach Movement, an initiative started by Teach For India alumni.

The three-year association will be in the form of a partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and the education board, to operate Shri Sant Gadge Maharaj English Medium Secondary School, Kondhwa. The move is expected to benefit 145 students in classes VIII and IX for the academic year 2015-16. CybageKhushboo donated Rs 32 lakh for this venture, which will help in educating the students.

Ritu Nathani, trustee, CybageKhushboo, and Director of Cybage Software Private Limited said, "With the Cybage-iTeach partnership, the students of the school, through the backing of free education, have got the opportunity to complete their matriculation, which would have otherwise come to a standstill after the seventh standard. With this venture, we look forward to educating as many students as possible and helping them achieve and fulfill their career aspirations."

Sweta Sarkar, school leader, iTeach Schools said, "This initiative will set an example for the secondary education landscape in Pune. A first in Pune, iTeach has started two secondary English medium schools exclusively for PMC school students."
