Interoperability
With the advent of new systems come more challenges of exchanging information between disparate systems within the organization and external systems outside the organization like a RHIO. Interoperability standards are being developed which will allow exchange of information between systems in a secure manner. Interoperability is a fundamental requirement of ensuring that widespread electronic medical record (EMR) adoption gives the social and economic benefits that is required. Interoperability is not just about connecting clinics, hospitals, labs, radiology etc, but also about connecting with various healthcare devices.
Cybage has been involved in the design and development of interoperability standards based systems for some of the leading Healthcare IT vendors. We have experience working with X12N 4010, HL7 v2.x, HITSP C32, C35, C36, C37, IHE-XDS and ePrescribing standards. We can help you in incorporating interoperability into your existing or new system.
